Eventually, Beau is killed by this creature after making some noise using a toy space shuttle. About a year later, Evelyn is pregnant with another child, and the family lives together in a house in the middle of the forest, using sign language to communicate.

However, during events nearing the birth of the child, Evelyn is attacked in the house, and at the same time, Reagan and Marcus are attacked somewhere else. 

This leads to the death of Lee as he tries to save his kids’ lives, and then the survivors figure out a way to fight off these monsters.

Deep-sea diver Jonas Taylor is recruited and hired to rescue the dispatched crew. The rescue mission was successful, but a crew member died. 

And then, as they returned to the facility to analyze the situation, they discovered that the shark had followed them from the trench to the upper parts of the water and started causing havoc, destroying ships nearby and killing people.

They successfully kill that one, but then they discover that there are probably other Megalodons that escaped from the trench, and in the fight to kill it, other crew members lose their lives too.

Inside the shimmer, the team loses track of time and is attacked by various mutant species, some of which turn into humanoids.

They face life and sanity-threatening situations in which Lena manages to be the only survivor and escapes from the shimmer. However, it is revealed that she also has been affected by the mysterious effect of the shimmer.

4. The Nun (2018)

Together with Frenchie, they learn the order’s evil secret and face a vicious monster in the form of a demonic nun whom they later identify as the entity to be Valek. 

They risk not only their lives but also their beliefs and very souls as they fight to seal the demon away in a rift.

On reaching the festival venue, they meet famous movie stars and are excited not until the festival turns into a blood bath after the organizer and director give their opening speech and descend the stage. 

The Terrified Trio finds a way to escape the venue with some other persons and ends up in more terrifying and life-threatening situations with monsters like zombies, vampires, etc.

Dax is among the survivors, and he later discovers that his father and sister are partners with the organizer of the horror film festival, leaving him devastated and confessing to his father.
