Awards for Business Excellence presented by Chamber

In keeping with a tradition that dates back more than a century, the Chamber of Medford & Jackson County honoured organisations and people during its annual Excellence in Business Awards.

The Chamber stated in a press release that it “spoke to the triumphs of local businesses and people, as well as the challenges they have encountered and overcome.” The ceremony “highlighted the best in our community and how their efforts have left a lasting imprint on the Rogue Valley through hard work, dedication, and a love for their town.”

At the Rogue Valley Country Club in Medford, the 103rd annual celebration took place in October.

Roy Vinyard, a former Asante president and CEO, received the Chamber’s “First Citizen” award. The honour honours a person’s career of accomplishments and volunteerism.

Vinyard became the CEO of Asante in 1999 and oversaw the healthcare sector for 20 years, up until 2019. He took over again as CEO of Asante in September while the incumbent CEO is on a temporary medical leave of absence.

The Rogue Valley, as well as Asante, has benefited greatly from his many years of experience in the healthcare field, according to the Chamber.

Lisa Stadmiller, the event coordinator for Youth 71Five Ministries in Medford, was given the “Rising Star Award” for her dedication to the neighbourhood and leadership qualities, according to the Chamber.

Stadmiller plans events for young people serviced by Youth 71Five Ministries by drawing on her degree in hospitality management with a focus on meetings and events. The religious group provides career training, mentoring, and community facilities that help families and children.

According to the Chamber, Elite Maintenance received the “New Member of the Year Award” for joining and becoming a standout, engaged new member. “Outstanding Corporate Citizen” was awarded to 5:00 Marketing in the for-profit category, and to Kids Unlimited in the nonprofit one. According to the Chamber, both have initiatives that improve the standard of living in the areas they serve and foster staff development.

The winners of the “Business Excellence Award” in the big, medium, and small business categories were Lithia & Driveway, Tribal One, and Cascade Self Storage. According to the Chamber, all three exhibit exceptional leadership, service, and community involvement. According to the Chamber, Dancin Vineyards won “Retailer of the Year” for its track record of dependability, success, outstanding customer service, outstanding community engagement, and leadership.

According to the Chamber, Rogue Disposal & Recycling received the “Member of the Year” honour for its noteworthy contributions to the growth of the Chamber.
