What is FIFA 23 career mode potential?

If you took a look at our table and said “hey, I don’t know what that means!”, we’re here to help. In FIFA 23 career mode, potential is a massive factor in how good your team can become. Taking an example from the table, Federico Chiesa – Italy’s star striker and one of the least popular men in England following the 2021 Euro’s – has a potential of 90, beginning at a base of 84 stats. This means that Chiesa is capable of getting up to the 90 stat with some seasonal training, and can reach even higher heights when in form.

With that, you should be able to pick up a few FIFA 23 career mode wonderkids and make your squad one worthy of going down in legend. For more out of EA’s soccer simulator, see our FIFA 23 crossplay and FIFA 23 ratings guide.
