RV Verma is reappointed as chairman of the AU Small Finance Bank


AU Small Finance Bank has revealed that the bank’s board of directors reappointed Raj Vikash Verma as the part-time chairman of the bank, effective from April 8, 2023, until January 29, 2024, among other things, during its meeting on October 10, 2022. (i.e. till completion of his tenure as Independent Director on the Board of the Bank)

Additionally a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers, RajVikash Verma (CAIIB). On April 8, 2020, after receiving authorisation from the RBI, he assumed leadership as the Bank’s part-time chairman.

Raj Vikash Verma joined the Bank’s Board of Directors as an Independent Director (Non-Executive) on January 30, 2018, and after receiving approval from the RBI, he assumed leadership as the Bank’s Part-Time Chairman on April 8, 2020.

Throughout his distinguished career in the financial services industry, Raj Vikash Verma has held a number of executive and board positions, including those of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of National Housing Bank (NHB), Whole-Time Director and Chairman of CERSAI, Non-Executive Director/Chairman of the India Mortgage Guarantee Corporation, and Whole-Time Member & Officiating Chairman of Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA).

At roughly 2:12 PM, AU Small Finance Bank Ltd’s share price is currently Rs582, down Rs5.75 or 0.98% from when it last closed on the BSE at Rs587.75.
