Sonic Frontiers Physical Copies Leaked

It seems the trend of physical copies getting out even before the launch is continuing. Earlier Gotham Knights and Persona 5 Royal copies were leaked. And this time it seems that Sonic Frontiers physical is out in the markets even before the actual launch.

Another TItle With Leaked Physical Copies

While Sonic Frontiers doesn’t come until a few days, it seems the physical copies are already out. A Twitter user Cahloosh uploaded a picture while holding a copy of the game. He also (thankfully) stated that he won’t be posting any spoilers.

This is also a great time to mention that this will result in tons of spoilers. Getting early access to games means that someone is most likely going to spoil them for you. The best example currently is God of War Ragnarok spoilers surfacing all over the internet. So, if you really care about the story and stuff it’s better to stay away from sites and forums that could ruin the experience for you.

Details on Sonic Frontiers

Sonic Frontiers will be the first ever true open-world Sonic game. The game takes the basics from older Sonic games and integrates them into a huge open world with 3D graphics. The game features a more natural-looking setting with dense forests, beautiful gardens, and mountains never seen in the franchise before.

An enhanced emphasis on combat, particularly quick melee combos and dodges, is also visible in gameplay footage so far. Over the course of the game, Sonic will be able to acquire additional fighting skills, such as the ability to melee parry adversaries and the power to unleash swarms of energy blades at them. This by the way is also a change of pace from the previous Sonic titles where all you had to do was jump on enemies to eliminate them.

The early trailers did not look that promising, however, the latter ones have really got our interest boosted. We really hope the new route SEGA is taking with Sonic pays off and turns into a great experience. Sonic Frontiers launches on November 8, 2022. It is currently available to pre-order on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, and PC.
